1/2 ounce of finely ground marijuana

Directions:
Melt the butter in a sauce pan to boiling.
Add the marijuana and let boil until the butter has turned green from the marijuana.
Pour butter through a strainer to remove all the pieces of marijuana. Chill until solid.

I have a large fluke plant it sprouted grew veged nicely flowered awsume but the buds arent growing and this plant has the most grow sites ive seen on a plant I have awsume juicer that saves pulp gives up all juice or liquad whats the smartest thing to do any tips im also seekin good way to make hash brown smokeable cakes any tips

I found the best way I make my butter is to melt the butter with boiling water in a large pot. The added water prevents the bud and butter from browning or burning. After the butter is melted, add your bud or trim to the butter and simmer on the lowest heat setting for 8-12 hours, stirring very 10-15 minutes. Once you are done, strain and freeze. Once frozen, separate the water and butter with a large Kitchen knife or anything of your choice and your ready. I've had many many compliments on my edible with no complaints. Hope this helps you!

Thats how I make my butter. I hope I'm not cooking it too high, because at the end of the cooking, the butter is brown. Not burned or anything, just brown, even though the weed is green. They are still great.

OK - so, I cant smoke and cooking is better for me. Want to make the butter. I see from all these posts that by making the butter, the quantity of weed looks like a-lot - 1oz for 1-1.5lbs of butter. Is this bud, shake or clippings?

if you are going to cook it dont have it be higher than 170 -190 degrees F. because 212 is boiling and that will ruin the thc. the point is to extract the thc. You wouldnt want the cannibas to boil preferably over 22 hours anymore than 24 is too much. but yes it is much more potent and if you put the cannibas in longer u can mix a lb to 2 cups of water per ounce. prolly twice as potent

Boiling butter is a NO NO you infuse it slowly I find crock pot best way for 6 to 8 hrs. It also helps to grind the weed first.also for the best high medicinally it is 1 ounce to 2 per pound using bud shake

would it be possible to do this in a crock pot, perhaps on a low setting? and i've heard the longer you cook the cannabis, the more potent it can be... i've heard as much as up to 24 hours. does that have any truth to it?

so hi very one haha hope every one enjoyed 4/20 . well i didnt use 14 grams .. i used 42.1 grams of pure dank buds of home grown . I used 1 8oz container of Challenged Butter Whipped Butter 3/4 cups of water medium size crock pot and then cooked for about 5 1/2 hours on low then used cheese cloths to strain it but i only used 3 cheese cloths you will notice that the cheese cloths absorb some of the butter so i kept the cheese cloths and all the butter and water from the butter and gonna try to make something out of it but i ended comming out with almost 1 1/2 cups of butter i used 1/2 cup in a single batch of brownies and they turned out great! making cookies today :)

I sent 3 people to the hospital with about that amount of homegrown bud a long time ago. Take it from an old hippie, don't eat more than 2 if you use this amount. I actually first ground the bud in a blender, (LIGHTLY) don't turn it into paste. Now, I added a step by, again, LIGHTLY sauteeing the pot in a dry, non-stick pan on medium heat until just aromatic. Dump it into your already prepared brownie mix and pop it in the oven until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Have your brownie mix ready and the oven hot.

I wouldn't reccomend putting cannabis in a skillet or any other cooking appliance that will heat it over 190F. THC will volatilize (spontaneously turn from solid to gas) at about that temperature and you will loose a lot in cooking. For stronger results, use a crock pot and let it soak for 8+ hours on the lowest setting. You want it warm but not super hot.

If you don't want to loose any potency in your cooking, don't let the weed heat up past 280. That is the temp. in which the THC starts to be affected by the heat and looses potency fast after this temp. so beware.

Of course use it all it`s all got THC why throw it away ? Strain it and save it,you can do it over and over in fact dont strain it use it make sure it`s chopped up fine,you won`t taste it..............

Boil your weed about two hours,skim top and put in grinder to chop fine put back in and boil for one hour add three sticks of butter,turn off and let sit wait for it to get hard,remove put water in two liter and use water for your recipe with butter,bake brownies.I use this recipe for just the laeves no buds..........stoner cakes !

we did a bit of improv. with this recipe, about 50 grams in to 1 lb of butter. but you need to add a bit more butter in the beginning of the melting process, because evaporation does occur

Technically your right but that is whats supposed to happen because marijuana is fat soluble so when the THC is released it goes directly into the butter, not the air. And it cant burn if its in liquid,anyone knows that.

um... i don't want to sound like a know-it-all but letting the butter boil gets the bud too hot and burns a considerable amount of THC. My mother as well as many of her friends have gotten best results from 170 deg F. let it sit for 12 to 36 hours and whatever you do with that butter, you won't be doing much after you eat it. :)

your right about it being super potent because butane fused hash oil messes with the cells in your brain and doesn't allow them to function properly, permanent damage may appear after frequent long term use. fare warning its a felony possession also now.

put a can of butane gas lighter re filler in a saucepan add 2-3 grams of chopped bud simmer for 2 mins then turn up the heat to full bring to the boil then let rest for a minute the best hash oil you smoked dip your blunt/joint shot or put a drop on your cone 10/10 potency careful now

One good mod to this would be to add water into the pot. let the water simmer with the melted butter in it. strain the the finished product after 1.5 hours into a container. Place container in the fridge. Remove butter and strain water for last of butter. Do not save the water. Less Smell and less Waste it seems.

IT'S EASY TO MAKE POT OIL FOR COOKING.
YOU TAKE 2 CUPS OF OIL ( VEG OIL ) AND PUT IT IN A PAN ON LOW HEAT .GRIND UP THE WEED ( 1/2 OZ )ADD TO THE OIL AND KEEP IT FROM BURNING TAKE IT ON AND OFF THE HAET WHEN IT STARTS LOOKING BROWN IT'S DONE ( about 30 min ) LET IT COOL DOWN USE CHEESE CLOTH NOW HAVE FUN.

You don't have to boil anything. Just simmer slow for 30 minutes. Warning!Don't taste the butter while cookin. It tastes GREAT! Strain Butta in cheesecloth. Opps preheat oven to 350. . Anyway, mix the butter and brownie mix. Put in oven and cook. Warning! Do Not Lick the BOWL! By now if you haven't followed the directions then you should be wasted already. OK now wait for the smell of brownies cooking ....ummmm about 45 minutes? Grab one outta the oven. Yummmmmm. Next one, gotta have some milk.
Warning! If you live in an apartment or whatever be careful. Brutal Fumes.
