Ganja Ghee

Ingredients:
1 pound of Butter
3.5 grams of Mary Jane or more or less (depending on how much weed you have to spare and to taste) to add favor



Note: This recipe contains weed. Weed strength varies and there is no "standard" so quantities may not be given or be approximate. Please use your own judgement when measuring based on your knowledge of the weed you're using.
Directions:
This recipe is what popped up in my head. However, this is for those who love the indian flavor to it and want healthier substance to plain old butter.

If you want plain old ghee: omit the weed
Place the butter in the heavy quart pan and cook it until the foam forms on the top. Then turn it down and simmer about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how heavy the pan is and how many heat it takes. It is done when the foam stops forming from the water evaporating as well as having the popcorn smell with clear yellow substance with tan milk solids. If you mixed weed with butter beforehand it will turn emerald color with dark green milk solids. Keep a close watch on it and wait until it's done before straining out the solids with the strainer or cheesecloth and bottling it up in the jar. Remember the THC might disappear if you add the weed to the butter mixture too soon or might not leach out in the butter mixture if you added it too late. Also the ghee if overcooked can be foamy and turn brown or with weed, to black.

There is your Ganja Ghee. Use it in any indian or other recipes that also called for butter.
