When evaporating any of the solvents listed above it should be done outisde in a well ventilated area with no open flames or anything that can cause a spark. DO NOT SMOKE WHILE DOING THIS. Petroleum ether is the most flammable of the solvents listed above. It is more flammable than gasoline, plus it is heavier than air, so it can pool in low spots and create an explosion hazard. If you plan on evaporating inside, you need to build what is called a reflux apparatus, which will simultaneously cool down the evaporated solvent, and keep it trapped inside the apparatus to prevent explosion or inhalation. Hash oil I found usually a alcohol derived an has more of the cbc cbn which was stated in the Febaury AMA Journel These are what help with pain,nerve pain, inflammation and even cancer!And this is what saved my life! Butane honey oil i use for acute pain. topicals to kill pain are best made with alcohol hash oil. Hope this helps make things clear.Some of us have to have the higher forms of medicating as we have to have high levels for it to do the best job. so excuse us. I really don't want to use morphen or Methadone for my pain as both these go clear into your bonemarrow so if you can't get your pills you suffer 4 times the pain! I'll stick to me weed and me oils! now, you CAN'T make honey oil from any fat based THC dissolving medium, a solvent must be used to get the concentration of THC as close to 100% as possible, if you succeed in getting over 95% what you should end up with is a product called budder, buDDer, not buTTer, but buDDer, which is isomerized THC in near pure concentrations, easyest method is using AAA quality buds and colibri butane to extract a super high quality BHO at which point it is stirred over medium heat on the BACKSIDE OF A PLATE OVER A POT OF WATER, very important part. the mixture will thin at first then re-thicken when the oil is white-gold in color, clumps and sticks to your mixing pin it is ready to take off the eat and let cool, this can be hot knifed, smoked in a bong on top of ashes( my fav), or put into a joint(not recommended as it is not anything as spreadable as oil). zigzag (guest)  |  18 February 2010 Reply

hash iol is honey iol mix with hash, it makes "jelly" is what its called, and all any of it it is, is thc trichomes. its really squishy hash because of the oil mixed in and its GOOOOD. theres nothing wrong with making honey oil except for the danger of blowing up, or a lot of people make the mistake of not boiling out all of the butane. if you do it right it is PURE THC.
